WatchmenThis book opens with a reading of Rorschach's journal on October 12, 1985, and a pool of blood on the sidewalk that resulted from Edward Blake being thrown out of the skyscraper. Rorschach came to investigate the crime sceene and found out that Edward Blake was the Comedian. Rorschach then came to Daniel's place to wait for him. Rorschach and Daniel then talked about possible motives for the murder and went down to their former secret lair. Rorschach and Daniel then talked about being former partners and that the good times ended when Daniel quit. On October 13, 1985, Rorschach went to a bar and demanded that somebody told him who killed Edward Blake. When Rorschach produced no results from the bar, he went to go tell a fellow masked crusader about the Comedian's death. Rorschach then told the other crusader that the Mask-Killer was on the loose and to watch his back.
I didn't the movie, but people always say the book is better than the movie. What is your opinion on this for Watchmen?

ReplyDeleteI can't say for sure, I haven't seen the movie or read much of the book yet. I've heard that the movie was really great but not as good as the books it's based off of.
ReplyDeleteI think that the killer will come after Rorschach because in superhero books, the hero(s) always have a dramatic faceoff with the main villian or a notorious killer.

I don't exactly know why the Comedian was killed. Rorschach and Daniel will renew their partnership because I heard spoilers from this show I watch. I don't exactly know why Rorschach and Daniel's partnership has been disbanded.

ReplyDeleteI think the mask-killer will be aprihended. I don't exactly know why the Comedian was killed, but I guess that he was killed because the mask-killer got to him and he wanted to kill him.
