1. A casino speeds up the game if they are worried about losing money. On average, the more games played, the higher their percentage.
2. Are all the players genuine? People from outside, even security guards may be asked to play to make a Casino look fuller.
3. Casinos want you to lose touch with the outside world and your sense of time. There are no clocks inside a Casino, croupiers do not wear watches, and often there are no windows.
4. Don't be pleasantly surprised by all the free drinks on offer in a Casino. It's a business. They want to keep you there and the more drunk you are the less you're likely to win.
5. In a busy game, watch out for the guy who is prepared to steal chips from someone else's pile.

ReplyDeleteSounds like good advice to me - though I'm not one for a casino. I gather that this is a nonfiction book. Do you like the numbers game?
I like the numbers game, I like to press my luck to the EXTREAM!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to a casino when I turn 18, I'm great with games. I'm not too bad at gambling, I don't spend a lot of money or not spend a little bit either.
ReplyDeleteInteresting... got any more tips?
ReplyDeleteThe only tips I know are the ones that are writen in the book, but I can give a personal tip, quit as soon as you make a profit.
ReplyDeleteI do horribly at gambling, I always end up losing all of my money.
